Accountant Shared Service Center Accountant Shared Service Center Nis, Serbia Responsibilities Responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks in accordance with established accounting principles and standards to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the organization’s financial records. This role supports the financial operations by recording daily transactions, maintaining general ledger accounts, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Reconciles accounts, verifies journal entries, and contributes to the month-end and year-end closing processes. Collaboration with internal teams to provide financial insights and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and reporting requirements. Additionally, the role involves contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems. Support and coach financial specialists with less experience. Skills & Experience University Degree (Economy) Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience (work in international environment would be treated as an advantage) Experience in ERP systems (SAP preferred) Fluent English Ability to prioritize and to work on multiple tasks Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring that financial data is both accurate and actionable.
