You will join our team as a Data Engineer, responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the infrastructure and systems that support data storage, processing, and analysis. In this role, you'll turn architectural blueprints into working solutions—building and managing data pipelines that ensure reliable, efficient, and secure data integration, transformation, and delivery across the organization.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to optimize data quality, security, and governance within data workflows. Integrate diverse data sources—including databases, APIs, and external systems—ensuring data consistency and integrity. Apply data cleansing, aggregation, filtering, and enrichment techniques to transform raw data into usable formats. Optimize data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and operational efficiency. Implement DevOps practices such as CI/CD, version control, automated testing, and documentation to maintain high code quality. Monitor data systems to identify and resolve bottlenecks, using caching and indexing strategies to enhance query performance. Embed data quality checks and validations within pipelines to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Work closely with stakeholders to define and support the vision of data as a critical business asset.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field. 6+ years in data management disciplines, including data integration, modeling, optimization, and quality. Proven track record developing and maintaining data warehouses and big data solutions Expert in Apache technologies such as Kafka, Airflow, and Spark for building scalable data pipelines. Proficient in programming languages like Java, Python, and C/C++. Skilled in data science and query languages/tools such as SQL, R, SAS, and Excel. Experienced with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and modern data warehouse tools (Snowflake, Databricks). Familiar with database technologies including SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, and Teradata. Solution Design: Ability to design, build, and deploy data solutions supporting AI, ML, and BI use cases. Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills; able to work across technical and business teams Analytical & Problem Solving: Expert debugging and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues in complex systems Business Acumen: Able to articulate business use cases, data management concepts, and analytical strategies clearly
