Lighting Design (Internship) Lighting Design (Internship) Milano, Italia SpotLIGHT of the job Lighting Designer INTERNSHIP is in charge to plan and implement innovative lighting solutions. She/He is a support for conceptualizing lighting layouts, selecting appropriate fixtures, and ensuring the execution aligns with project goals—whether for indoor spaces (e.g. office, education, retail, logistics) or for outdoor lighting. Responsibilities Support to developing lighting concepts and detailed designs based on client requirements, architectural plans, or artistic direction. Create lighting layouts, concept and control system schematics using design and graphics softwares (e.g., AutoCAD, Dialux, Revit, Adobe Photoshop) Support to selecting appropriate lighting fixtures and technologies to meet functional, aesthetic, and energy efficiency goals. Ensure compliance with relevant standards and sustainability guidelines. Support the preparation and presentation of lighting design proposals and mood boards to clients and stakeholders. Support for on-site inspections to ensure proper installation and design intent are met. Stay current with lighting trends, technologies, and best practices. Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Knowledge in lighting design software Understanding of lighting principles, color theory, and control systems Visual, creative, and technical problem-solving skills.
